"The Wrong Lunch Line" By: Nicholasa Mohr
Nicholasa Mohr was born on November 1, 1938 in Manhattan, New York. In 1975 her book "El Bronx Remembered" won the New Times Outstanding Book Award becoming the first female Hispanic to receive this award. In 1988 she taught at the Queens College, City University of New York until 1991. Nicholasa Mohr is still alive at the age of 75.
